Landsat-8: Utah, Sept. 2018
This image was prepared from all or parts of 18 different Landsat-8 scenes mostly captured in September of 2018 (from 4 different orbital paths). I used QGIS for the initial sizing and alignment of the data layers, and did the rest of the work (merging, composing to RGB, color + light correction, seamline feathering, etc.) in Affinity Photo. The relief shaded version was made in Blender using the BlenderGIS plugin. I used BlenderGIS to create a 3D mesh from 30m DEM data and then rendered it with a 30m resolution satellite RGB image draped on top. Some extra data from 2015 was used to replace cloudy sections in a few small areas.
